This really was a dream come true as I never thought I would be able to afford one. For the last 4 years I have saved ever penny I could even going without other things so I could have enough. I have recently adopted 4 year old so I really didn't know if I could get my dream box but I made it happen and now it holds about half of my cake decorating supplies. My cake room no longer looks like a hoarder lives in it!
I've had the DreamBox for almost a year now. Here are the things I love about it:
1. I love the flexibility on how I can adjust shelves and totes to meet my needs.
2. This holds A LOT of stuff!!
3. By having everything organized I am able to grab all of the supplies I need in such a short amount of time, which means I spend more time creating!
4. I have a dedicated space for my art and I can leave it there and come back to it when I need to!
A couple of things I didn't like with purchasing the DreamBox:
1. We got the DIY version, and the hardware was missing from the shipment. However, I contacted customer service and the gal I talked to said that since I was local to Utah they were able to make arrangements so I was able to pick up my hardware locally instead of needing to wait another week to build it. I appreciate that they went above and beyond with that.
2. 90% of the totes I got were scratched. Customer service sent me new totes which was good. However, most of those totes were scratched as well. I just decided to work with what I got instead of getting new ones again because it was a hassle. They still work well though. However, with the price that I paid I should not have had scratched totes to begin with but it is what it is.
3. The swing doors don't stay shut with the magnets as well as I needed them to. I have a toddler and he kept getting into things. But I found a solution: I took a Velcro command strip and put it on both sides of the swing doors and that has held them shut perfectly.
Customer service has been wonderful and it truly is a great product if you are looking for something to hold all your supplies in one place. I look forward to using it for years to come! Overall, I give it a 4.8/5
I’ve always wanted a dreambox and now that it’s finally here, I’m even more in love with it than I could have imagined! To be able to say all my craft supplies are completely organized and accessible is a first in my life!! This box is incredibly sturdy and versatile. You absolutely won’t regret getting this!
I cannot explain how much I love this dream box. I have a small house and my craft supplies were spread out all over the place. Now that I have a place to store them (without taking up much space at all) I am doing crafts every weekend! The foldout table is the big game changer for me. 100% worth the price and it was very easy to assemble.
Love my Dream Box! I didn't want to use one of my spare bedrooms for a craft room and this is the perfect solution. It fits perfectly (when I'm not using it and have it closed) between my fireplace and a wall. I work from home so it's my office desk during work hours and my "craft room" all other times. So happy with this purchase!!
I love my dream box. It is almost filled. I have gone from totes and plastic storage drawers to this beautiful, functional piece of furniture. I can see everything that I have available for my sewing and crochet!! I am beyond pleased.
I finally got my dream box put together and I absolutely love it. I can’t wait to fill it with all of my art supplies
I spent so many years obsessing about this box every time it popped up in my feed. I needed it, but I couldn’t justify it because I didn’t really have time for hobbies, though I was good at collecting them. Skip to 2022 and an unexpected cancer diagnosis caused me to take some time away from work. The first months were a blur, but eventually I found some inspiration after getting a third 3D printer. Suddenly I was buying more stuff with no place left to put it, so I gently informed my husband that it was time to bring my dream home. The amount of motivation it gave me was worth the money alone. I’ve only had it together for a week, but everyone in my house loves it! My husband says clean radiates from the box. My 11 year old calls it the closet to Narnia. My 9 year year old just likes sitting in the room with me while I paint. I LOVE being able to find my stuff, finally! It truly is a dream come true.
I am in LOVE with my Dream Box! It was not assembled and it was 605 lbs. of heavy, but it's solid. We got it bult and there were a few pieces I needed to get replaced, but Create Room Customer Service is awesome. The biggest and best thing I did for my Dream Box was to take out the carpet and put in hard vinyl flooring. It allowed me to change the room to a more efficient set-up and to be able to open and close my Dream Box doors, but who am I fooling, those doors will ALWAYS be open for business!!!
I have been wanting a dream box for a long time, but put it off for so long. Then I decided it was definitely my time! I am SOOO glad I did!! I am 60 years old and I put it together by myself!! It took a while, but I got it done! I haven’t filled it yet, but when I do, I will post pictures!! I love this piece of furniture soooo much. ❤️❤️. It is the ULTIMATE craft storage and I can’t wait to get all my stuff organized! All of my friends are in awe. Lol. My son was very proud of me for tackling this project alone. Altogether, it took me about 3 days to do the whole thing, however, I was going back and forth doing other things and it wasn’t 3 solid days. It was fun, actually. The instructions are awesome and everything is labeled extremely well! I am a VERRRY happy customer! . Thank you, Create Room!!!
A little disappointed that the legs weren't pre attached to the table after I paid for assembly.
I love my Dreambox! I got the pre-built unit which made it much easier for my husband and I to handle. Delivery was wonderful and we were able to immediately bring the 3 pieces into the home and start putting them together. The process was very easy and everything was well marked with easy to follow instructions. The totes were a please to fill and now I can see everything at a glance to do various crafts. I am an avid scrapbooker and enjoy working with my Cricut. I can also attach my dreamcart which arrived shortly before my dreambox and now my grandkids have a place to craft with me when they are visiting. They have been learning to make lots of different craft items and can easily find the materials they need for their projects. This was one of the best investments I have made for myself. I retired a few months ago and now have some time to try new crafting ideas. The dreambox helps me to stay organized and gives me more time to craft! Kathy Peoples
Wish I would have bought this years ago. Getting organized so that I have everything in one space is going to be wonderful. I have my sewing on one side and my painting on the other. While I have had some health issues since getting my box I have not been able to completely get everything in it yet but hope to this month. I have so many sewing projects in my head that I want to do for my great-granddaughter. Yes, I also bought an embroidery machine. I will be spending a lot of time with my wonderful organized box.
I have been wanting this for a long time and finally my hubby gifted it for my birthday! Needed it so badly and wouldn’t be more happy! Thanks CreateRoom for such design.
I absolutely love my DreamBox! I’ve had her for 3 years now and she’s been a blessing to have. I named her Jane lol! About 75% of my crafting needs fit in this DreamBox. My crafting stash has tripled in 3 years, I might need another one lol. Putting together was time consuming but I don’t regret it one bit. Now I’m thinking of adding wallpaper and changing her up a bit. Thanks Createroom for continuing to create storage items for all of our crafting needs.
I got this to organize all my stuff in my new craft room. I crochet and sew and my husband paints. Plus we have 2 small kids so I’m anticipating school projects etc. I love having everything organized and in one place!
I’ve ordered 1 of these back in December & never got it. It was NOT from this company but I will never buy anything through Facebook again & I was really really disappointed cause I wanted that so badly. But lesson learned I guess.
I have been a lifelong artsy-crafter type person. I finally got a free room in my house to spread my wings when the children were grown and on their own. The kitchen table was my previous workplace. However, organizing the now free room and keeping track of my supplies was very difficult and stressful and overwhelming at times. I discovered that Create Room Dreambox a couple of years ago, but it took me awhile to convince myself that it was worth the investment. I finally made the decision to purchase and it is a game changer. My craft room is still not completely picture perfect, but I know where everything is, can find what I want in no time, and am actually crafting even more with greater ease, enthusiasm and energy. The piece is heirloom quality and will be handed down. So really, it is an investment and not just an impulse buy.
It is still a work in progress - I’ve lined all the totes and papered the walls inside. I’ve stored most of my materials, too. I want to label my totes, but I’m a teacher, so I think that will be a summer project. I sew and do a few crafts, so have put almost all of the sewing accessories on one side while the other side is “everything else” - paints, markers, Cricut bits and pieces, etc. It’s just so beautiful!!
I am 69 years old and managed to build this by myself. If I had not had carpet in my bedroom there is no way I could have lifted them up without them rolling away. When I put the sides on I had one moment where things almost got away from me, but I caught it in time. I made a couple of mistakes and had to take things off. I put wood glue in every hole if I already had put screw in previously. This is made out of MDF and laminate so you can't afford too many mistakes. I had 15 small moving boxes and managed to get everything in there. I still had room left. I have tried really hard to not hoard fabrics so I only have 10 projects in there right now. I bought the sewing table as well so most of my thread and rulers are in that. I have a lot of cross stitch floss and aida cloth. It is so nice to see where everything is. I will not be tricking this out because I want to see where stuff is. I do close it up so I can use the wall behind it to put my quilts on. I found the lock for the top to be useless. It pulled right out of the top. I have changed it to a hasp lock and bolted it with washers through the top so it can't pull out. The magnets for the shallow door don't work at all. Maybe my floor isn't level and after trying different things, I found super thin, strong magnets on Amazon. I have so many that I decided I will put 3 on each one. Doing that later today.
I received my Dream Box in February. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! Such a great way to get all my crafts and supplies in one location instead of various closets and bins. I was so looking forward to taking some of my craft supplies when I went to take care of my mother. I was imagining her giggling over the crafts we were going to do. Unfortunately, my mother passed away on March 4th and I haven't really had the inspiration to do anything. I am hoping to get my abilities back - it's just going to take some time.
My dauther-in-law is helping me to redesign my workplace to hopefully get me inspired again.
I look forward every day to the time I spend using my dream box. Knowing where every thing is and being able to keep my fabrics, wool, and machines organized and safe is pure pleasure.
I can duck out of the fray and immerse myself in creating. Give my soul a place to rest and restore…
I have loved everything about this!! From ordering, to delivery, to finally being able to get all of my things in one location and get them organized has been a dream come true. Customer service was unbelievable! I have been "collecting" materials and tools for different projects for years and moving constantly with the military has made keeping track of things difficult to say the least. Now that we're not moving anymore (retirement) I can really roll up my sleeves and get working. I just hope I don't have more than this will hold!
The DreamBox truly is a dream! Before Christmas I could barely get into my craft room. Now my crafting buddy actually says she's excited every time she comes over, because we have our own little private oasis to craft in.
I've been wanting a "Scrapbox WorkBox" since about 2005; I'm not sure why I put it off. Don't waste another minute, you're worth it! Regardless the product name, the CreateRoom furniture allows you to have an organized space and it encourages you to create. I'm grateful I finally bought a DreamBox!
Your DreamBox is awesome! I built it for my wife and she is delighted with it!
I absolutely love this. I have drooled over it for months before making the leap. My room is small but we are planning on building. So with that said we will have room to grow. At least with this all my things are neatly stored in one place and my table allows me to walk away from projects and come back when time allows it. I am hoping to add to with the dream cart and the sewing station on day but for now the dreambox does alot for me. A huge investment but so worth it. If you can find it in your budget it to make it happen you won't regret it. Especially if you are a super neat tidy person like myself. My only regret is not buying it sooner.
I absolutely love it! It holds all the craft supplies I had stashed all over the house. Even my husband likes it. But I'm afraid he has become a craft widower.
Just moved into a brand new condo and I ordered this DreamBox months ago. When it finally arrived I could hardly wait to get it together - and I did get it together ALL BY MYSELF! I've never had all of my fabric, yarn, and various other pretty things in one space before - so nice to be able to put my hand on whatever I need. I'd recommend not only the DreamBox, but also the outstanding customer service representatives.
I love love LOVE my Dreambox! I don't get to use the table as much as I thought I would, but having all of my crafting stuff in one place is great. It's so well organized so it's even easier to find my things when I want them. I couldn't recommend the Dreambox more!
So far I am loving all the room it has and that I can move it if need be. I had all my craft stuff in 4 different cabinets! I love the dream box because not only is it in one place but I can organize it and see all the things !
I’m a musician, an artist (oils, acrylics, pastels, charcoal and colored pencils. Im a beginner seamstress will be making window covering for my home, and I own a rambunctious Parrott (Toby), who loves hand made toys which I make weekly for him. I’ve been working out of boxes and used kitchen tables, garage workbench and a desktop for working services. I was becoming so frustrated finding the supplies and work spaces to work on. Then I saw your dream box two years ago and knew this is what I needed. It holds most of my art supplies, Toby’s toy materials and my sewing machine with all the accessories’ even my Christmas wrapping paper bowels and ribbons. To be this organized and have a dedicated place to work is a dream come true. The table and side tables provide the surfaces I need for my desktop easle which is storable.
My room is 9 x 9 and it fits perfectly and there is even room for my keyboard.
I’m Definately a happy camper
I absolutely love my dreambox it was definitely what I needed and wanted!!!!!!
I have been ill, so the organizing part is going slowly. As I go along, I am purging, eliminating items I have multiples of. I have made a new friend at church, a young mother if 2, who loves to sew, and I have made her very happy with my discards.
I like it but there was some improper and missing milling for holes which caused assembly issues. One shelf accidentally had holes milled identically on both of it's sides when the instructions, its corresponding mating surface (a side wall), and other identical shelves showed holes on one side are supposed to be offset. I also ordered the side tables which come with clasps to cinch them to the center table for stability. The starter holes for the clasps were milled into the underside of the side tables as they should have been but no holes were milled into the underside of the main table to mount the catches for the clasps. Were talking about four catches with two holes apiece. And it can be tricky having to drill those holes at home. Aside from being careful not drill through the table top the positioning of holes needs to be quite accurate in order for the mating surfaces not to end up so loose that it would create a gap or so tight that a clasp can't be easily opened or closed by hand. Fortunately we're experienced with tools so we handled the milling issues on our end. Still, the oversight was disappointing for the price. Having said that, the assembly instructions were very good. Much clearer and more accurate than instructions encountered in umpteen furniture and mechanical projects. I joked with my helper that's what you get when you have a company run by women building products for women! That was a compliment.
I love the FUNCTION of this furniture piece. It certainly does the best job at allowing you to get organized and keep a clean & neat look.
I'm not crazy about the material it's made out of. If I had to do it all over, I'd pay the extra money to have it professionally put together so it's built when it arrives.
I have always wanted a Dream Box, even though I'd say I am a beginner in crafting (I have no one craft that I'm really go at yet). Just anything where I can use my Silhouette and heat presses! But, I LOVE any kind of organizer, so this was definitely a good investment. I was missing a screw from the paper organizer I ordered, but customer service was very prompt in getting that mailed to me. I ordered pre-built, which was definitely worth it. It took 2 people to carry it upstairs to the second floor, but we had a third person here to help (highly recommend if you have to angle it up a full flight of stairs for pre-built).
I love the quality of the totes - they feel sturdy and not easily breakable. I love that everything is modular and adjustable, so as my crafting hobbies evolve, this can easily evolve with me and whatever new supplies sneak into my back stock! I also purchased the power strip that mounts to the inside, I think this is very handy and helps to stay out of the way. And the Dream Cart (Love!), adds a lot more storage space but can fold down the side leaf(s) when not in use.
One of my challenges was how to fit this in the space I am currently in, and the spaces that it will move to in the future. We are military family and will likely move at least 3 more times. With some research, I've found great tips (FB Group pages) on moving with a Dream Box from others who have had to PCS with a Dream Box.
My other challenge was, how can I use this as a desk? The last thing I wanted is a big ol' computer monitor in the way. I opted for the Dream Cart to function as my desk, and additional craft space. As a network system engineer, I also love my tech set up as much I love crafting... so I managed to find a great solution for mounting my monitor and Surface Pro using a dual monitor mount with desk clamp - this way it keeps almost all of the space on the Dream Cart clear when it's time to craft! Tip for using a clamp mount: I used a metal bracket to distribute the weight and reinforce the surface of the Dream Cart (can be found on Amazon). My biggest fear is my mounted tech would damage the Dream Cart!
For reference, these are the items I purchased to set up my workstation on the Dream Cart.

I've been sewing since 1954. I got started when I took a sewing class in junior high (aka middle school today). My time spent sewing varied over the years depending if I were working outside the home, raising kids or being occupied with life. (I've heard it said that life is what happens when you're making other plans. That's what happened in my case.)
I didn't have "A Sewing Room" until the middle 70's when one shared the space with a guest room. That ended when my last child married and they moved in with me for a while. When they left, I again reclaimed My Sewing Room. Then in 2015, my husband retired and we moved to a more affordable state. During the move, the "furniture" which I had made to fit the space was destroyed and sent to the dump. (I refused to witness this carnage.)
In the new state, a third bedroom was marked as My Sewing Room. It wasn't until I saw The Dream Box that I knew how I was going to proceed. So now, nearly 7 years down the road from our purchasing the home, I have finally got a direction in which to proceed. I say "proceed" because too many things have gotten in the way. But I AM going forward; just slower than I would like.
Nevertheless, I am thrilled to have such a wonderful, well-thought-out piece to work with. My only reserve is that I know there will be improvements over time that I will not possess. But, such is life. I just couldn't wait any longer.
I also would like to express my appreciation for your top-notch customer service. It's been a real pleasure dealing with y'all. Keep up the good work.
Buying my dreambox was always a dream, and now that I have it I love my place of art, it changed my life and it is my favorite place I love my dreambox
I debated whether to give this 4 or 5 stars. I do love it so I've gone with 5, but if 4.5 were an option I'd have chosen that. You've heard and seen all the good stuff, so let me share my pet peeves. They don't update you about shipping. As we got closer to the shipping estimate that I'd gotten when I first purchased, I kept expecting to hear some kind of update, but there was nothing. Then I assumed I could easily look it up online. Again, no. You have to use the chat function to find out. Then I learned (via chat) that they were estimating mine would come a few weeks after the end of the estimated window - again, there was no update sent that would have alerted me. I got a "how'd we do?" rating opportunity after that chat and gave my negative opinion, and then suddenly my DB was shipping quite soon. Funny how that happened... It was shipped on the day that they said it would be, and I was able to arrange shipping to my door with the local freight company they used. Unfortunately, the freight company told me a very specific window of time -- 3pm to 7pm -- and then called at 1pm and told me they were on their way and no they couldn't come later. So when they ask you what days you can take delivery, assume you might need to be home all day. I was lucky that my husband was home to accept delivery because I couldn't get home in time. The other beef I have is with the full set of plastic bins. I love the bins; they're great. But I have too many of both sizes of the large bins (the wide flat ones and the deeper mid-size ones) and yet they don't ship enough of the tiny sized bins that fit into the narrow spaces on either side of the center console -- i.e., the only space in the whole dang cabinet that you almost certainly will want those custom-sized bins because you won't have anything else to put in there. I'm swimming in unused plastic rails; I've got multiple of the other two bins sizes stacked up empty in a closet, and yet I have yawning spaces in those two narrow spaces just begging for more tiny bins. I can't imagine I'm alone in this. I think they calculate that everyone will leave extra space at the top of those bins (storing tall paint bottles, for example), but if you're storing pens, paintbrushes, and other things that don't require any vertical clearance above the top of the bin, you are going to want more of those bins. Lastly, I got mine flat-packed and we assembled it ourselves. They don't warn you ahead of time that they send extra hardware in some categories and not in others, so if you're the type of person who panics because there are three extra screws, or you think you must have missed a step because you still haven't used the allen wrench the instructions specifically say you'll need, and that they include in the shipment, but that is never needed, this can be an anxiety-ridden build. That said, I'm no furniture builder and mine came out just as beautiful as all the photos, so you'll be fine!
I am so glad I ordered the full set in view totes ! The most important add on was the crown with light as my room lighting was not enough! I would have gotten the three drawers except they weren’t available when I ordered. Still organizing my dreambox and have to say I
finally can see my supplies and just enjoy crafting ❤️
Husband and I were really impressed with how well this box is constructed. We opt for pre built & it came pre built . We only needed to connect the three pieces. That was it! It took a told for two hours to get it into the house and put together. Love it!!
Purchased mine in 2017 when it was called the original scrapbox I believe. Just over two years later just after my warranty ran out I had some issues with the door hinges bending and the customer service at the original scrapbox said they had had some issues and hinges had been changed since I had purchased mine so I was able to buy a set of the new hinges to replace my bent ones. I’ve also had some issues with my pegs for shelves not wanting to go into the holes and breaking when trying to force them in which I told customer service about but their response was they hadn’t had any other issues from other customers and that was that. Also the doors do not open as easily as the videos show but I am not on hardwood so that could be the reason. Overall I like my scrapbox for the amount of storage I get, just wish I didn’t have the issues that I had for the type of money I paid.
I am a recent empty nester who downsized our home. I have been scrapbooking for 25 years. The dream box is perfect to store all my supplies in a smaller room.
I ordered2 from Facebook. My card was charged and I never got them is there a scam happening and if so what can I do ?
Best investment ever. I love being able to have all my craft supplies organized.
After beating cancer twice, my daughter was diagnosed with ESRD(end stage renal disease)She is also Type 1 diabetic. She started Home Dialysis which meant approximately 20 to 30 boxes delivered along with various supplies every 3 weeks or so. She lives with me and doesn’t have nearly enough space in her room for her supplies. So I moved my craft room to the family room. Now she can have her supplies close by and I get a bigger space! I just didn’t know where I would put my crafting and sewing supplies. Her suggestion”hey mom you need one of those Dream Box things” had me curious if it would work. And here I am! I am still in the process of organizing my Dream Box. It’s hard to decide what to put where but I am getting there. I do love the Crown light and how easy it is to move shelves around on the box. It was pretty easy to build even for a senior like me. I’ve already added some bling to it.
I haven’t unboxed it yet because all of the information on the website said it would take months to arrive. Mine took two weeks, so my craft space isn’t ready yet!! I’m excited to have it all finished and organized.
I am so pleased with my Dreambox. It is so sturdy and it is high quality. I ordered the large tote package and there is so much storage. To have all of you craft supplies organized in one area is amazing. The people I worked with to get the Dreambox were so friendly and knowledgeable. I live rural and they even worked out a place for me to meet them to get my Dreambox. I had trouble with the leg hinges but they are replacing them right now. Buying from this company has been a great experience and the Dreambox really is a dream come true.
sewing Table Received everything. All in good shape. Assembly and directions not bad.You definitely need to use a drill on alot of items. Alot of the predrilled holes are off. The casters had to open up holes on metal one side 1 otherwise was fine. lift table predrilled holes off on one side doesn't matter how try it. panel cover that closes machine opening warped looks horrible one way and ok the other. front door hits on lower fold out table on bottom. they need something there to kick out the side table. 2 hinges are already bent down from the weight of table only had 1 day. front door caster needs 2 nut so can adjust height make front look level.
Love how the instructions were easy to follow and I now have everything organized in one place. Love it!!
Mary Ellen W.
I am using my DreamBox to organize my yarn for knitting and crocheting. Love Love Love it.
Just Love the creativity in a Box!!!
I was so excited to receive my Dream Box after years of longing for one! My daughter, granddaughter, son and a neighbor helped get it into the house and put together. I have so much more room to craft now than when I was trying to keep everything in rolling carts in my granddaughter's bedroom! I have the light plugged in to a smart plug so I only have to open it up and ask Alexa to turn on the craft light. I am having so much fun!
Bought mine 2020
Organize it, change things around all the time. It is my happy place .
Grand kids love it too .❤️
I love the way it went together, and the variety of storage boxes.
I wish you had an order catalog so I could add just the boxes I want.
I need more paper storage! I have two paper sorters from the Container Store. Wish you had something like them that hold about 15-18 sets of papers in a 13x13 space. I can really separate my papers but now I only have 8 shelves.
I love, love, love my DreamBox! This was the best investment in my happiness with life. I don’t sell any crafts but I enjoy just the occasional craft or two created for me! I’m having a ball making it my own and I recently decided to go back and buy the side tables! If you’re on the fence I recommend getting everything they offer. Everything I have purchased so far is quality goods. Enjoy! And thank you to the wonderful designers.
I took my time building my DreamBox.
I watched a few different videos to see the process and any hints, so I had no issues! It is a solid, well-designed cabinet with the best written instructions and labeled parts I’ve ever seen (and I’ve put together a lot of RTA furniture over the years!!)
This amazing unit has enabled me to finally organize all the boxes, bins, bags etc of craft, sewing, floral & gift wrap supplies… so my guest room will be uncluttered and i can see everything I have in a glance once it’s open. It’s awesome!!!
I haven’t completely filled and labeled my totes yet, so I’ll take more pictures when it’s all set up. So glad I made the investment!!
The “LOFT” was the last room of the house to get paint and flooring…while I was out of state for three weeks helping our youngest daughter with her first newborn, my husband was able to not just lay down new floor and paint walls and ceiling, but also install new lights and fan! I knew the Dream Box had been delivered and was waiting to be put together, but not before I returned home…this ALL was done for my 65th Birthday!! My husband and I put the Dream Box together in my new loft over the Thanksgiving weekend. Between the instructions and the YouTube video, we had little challenge doing it ourselves. It truly is a DREAM COME TRUE!!! I have been garment sewing for 57 years, and became involved in quilting the last 10 years. It is truly a joy to have all my tools in one location, organized and easy to access. The Dream Box allows me to have my sewing, embroidery, and long arm supplies where I can get to them without looking through different bins or drawers. I LOVE IT!! This was so worth the wait! A sturdy piece of furniture, well made and sure to last the rest of my life!
I want the magnetic for the doors ?
I don’t actually see savings in the dream box, only on the extras
I feel complete! This is the thing I’ve been dreaming of and it’s now my reality! I’m an artist and it fits it all. My stuff has never been so organized and easy to access. I love the table and the drafting height is my favorite! The dream box is beautiful and customized to exactly what I need. I I’m so happy I got this. 10/10 would recommend.
I absolutely LOVE my DreamBox! I’ve wanted one for a very long time and finally decided to get it. It’s amazing how much I can fit into it, and it is so beautiful and functional. Not only is it a place for crafting but has also become an office space. The crown with light is an amazing addition since there is very poor lighting in the room I have it in, and I love how the crown looks. I’m looking forward to eventually adding more of their furniture pieces to my craft room!
Bought, never received, have requested to be removed from email list. Still getting emails...
By far, I think the customer service is superb. With that said, I think the instruction manual needs to be reviewed better. I found quite a few mistakes and honestly a few places where I was confused on a few things. I brought them all up with customer service, but I just expected better out of a product that is not cheap by any means. Overall, I like it so far. Something I do wish it had is the ability to lock the wheels. My box is on hardwood and opening it up is sometimes difficult as it tends to slide. I wish I could lock the center wheels, which would make opening the side doors a little bit easier.
I am in love with my dreambox. I tell everyone about it and explain to them about this page. I love the ability to close it and organizing every single detail. I am not done setting up my things as I do work and go to school but I was able to built it myself. It is so easy to do. I'm 4 foot 10 and I had no problem alone and only needed help at the end to put side doors up as they don't balance well alone. I also need to finish putting crown up but honestly it is the best money I have ever spent. I truly suggest it to any crafter.
I do crafting as a hobby only no income coming in it is all 100% out of my pocket I got the Dream box because my mom keeps complaining to me that she could not eat breakfast , lunch , dinner at the table because all my crafting stuff took up the hole dinning table now I got the dream box and my mom can eat at the table my mom is happy now ? I have a big family I have 5 brothers and 2 sisters and they all have kids I do crafting for everyone in my family and they all love it and it fits into my budget so everyone has a very nice gift ?
I saw the Dream Box on the internet and knew it was exactly what I needed. When we finally ordered it, I was a little nervous about the reviews I kept reading. Hubby said "pay no attention". His feelings were that it was very legit. He was right! It arrived and he put it together for me. Everything was clearly marked and went together without issue. I starting moving in. I am SO happy to have the storage and a dedicated place to do my crafts. I am an extremely satisfied customer.
I am so excited to start filling this up. I waited such a long time to finish the room that is becoming my craft room. The dream box is gorgeous!! And the see station and create cart are perfect additions.
Are absolutely love my dream box! It holds so much of my stuff and allows me a workstation! Best purchase I’ve made in a long time!
I was looking for a sturdy sewing desk. My husband saw the dream box, and I laughed -- it was way out of my price range, way more than what I "needed". Well, we ended up getting the dream box, with the side tables and the light. I love this set up SO much. I can have a complete mess in my crafting room, but have it all cleaned up and put away within 5 minutes. I spend time in this room every day. Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Double yes. I am so, so happy and thankful we were able to get this!
Assembly was easy except for the swing doors, we had a little trouble figuring them out until we stood them up. After fumbling with the first one the second was easy. Now to figure out where to start putting my supplies away, one thing at a time! For me, this is definitely worth every penny and more. Love it!
Never received it after paying on line through Prestons at sale price. Not done yet...
Love this cabinet. I recently down sized and moved. I lost my sewing room. This was the best choice. This is the first table set up I have had that hasn't vibrated while using my embroidery machine. No more jumping.
I also purchased the side table, while I like having it, it is heavy and hard to use. The more I use it the easier it gets.
Also, I would like to add that every time I have called I've received very courteous service. Everyone is so nice.
Very happy with the DreamBox, it’s a wonderful piece of furniture and we’re excited for it to join our house. Love the kind-of-assembled option but dismayed at the not-quite-white-glove service of delivery (which we would have happily paid for). Our driveway is graveled and on a slight rise. My partner and I muscled it into the house over several hours, some neighbors offering to help and others bitching about the entire delivery process (e.g. road blocked). Look forward to seeing my bruises tomorrow—-please consider a “we bring it inside” delivery option.
Love my dreambox! I chose to put mine together. The instructions were pretty clear, was not as hard as I thought it would be but did take my husband and a few nights/ few hours each night to get it together.
I absolutely love all the storage! I am into a bunch of different crafts, so it's nice to have some kind of organization instead of just trying to find some random place in the house to store it. I bought the whole set of totes, which are really nice. Only complaint is that they could be slightly bigger to better use the space. For example the medium totes have room to be wider and taller, which would give little more storage space and maybe fit some slightly bigger items. I also got the three built in drawers and the crown with light...very happy with those additions. The dreambox itself feels pretty sturdy, I'm not afraid of it falling apart on me. Nice that everything is adjustable as far as shelves so you can set it up to meet your needs.
I'm overall very happy with my dreambox. It's a crafters dream come true!
This is a dream! My craft room is not the same anymore. Now I put everything I used where it belongs and is a whole new experience. Trust me, you need this.
I love the Dream Box, but truthfully have found it not quite as functional for my scrapbooking needs. 12x12 paper pads do not fit in the slide-out see-thru drawers that come with the Dream Box. My husband modified the dream box by removing one of the inner panels on both sides of the box in the lower portion and created new, wider shelves for me. I now have wider space to store my 12x12 paper pads. Before that I have to admit that I was pretty discouraged after getting the box put together.
The Dream Box also came with lots of jar containers. I wish that had been an optional choice as I don't really have a use for them but hate to see them go to waste.
On the good side, customer service was above and beyond exceptional. We ordered the Dream Box to come in pieces and not put together. Unfortunately in shipping a number of pieces were damaged. Customer service went above and beyond to help me get replacement items.
As I have accumulated leftover bits and pieces from craft projects over the years, I had been gradually adding storage but it was very haphazard: a box here, a set of drawers there, a teetering pile of yarn wedged under the table, etc. I finally decided to consolidate the multiple storage devices around my office into 1 unit and the Dreambox fulfills that purpose beautifully! There are so many different ways I can fit items into the different shelves and boxes and I love that it is just as good at storing loose sheets of paper as it is at storing yarn. I also love that it has the perfect area for my Cricut machine and that the work table adjusts to standing or sitting height. There is so much storage space that I have plenty of room to continue to expand into it for years to come. The Dreambox is a big investment but for me, it was so worth it!
I love my new Dream Box. I opted to put it together myself, and it was not too bad. Everything is labeled and the instructions are good. Just remember that bundle instructions do not match box numbers. I would highly recommend the canopy with light and the power strip.
I'm in love !
Can't believe I waited so long to order one.
The Dream Box was much easier to assemble than I expected! We did it over the course of a few days, with only a few tools. I recommend the hood light and extra totes - they are well worth the add on! Everything was packed very well for shipping and nothing was damaged.
When the box arrived, the delivery person knew exactly what it was and told me that he loves delivering those because people are always so excited to receive them.
My craft room was our office. I would set up a table in the living room and move what I needed to use there. Now I have a room above our new garage. Where everything is in one place and have lots of room.
Let the fun/scrapbooking being! I've wanted one of these for YEAR'S. I kept saying"it's not a necessity" or "when I pay this or that off" or "someday." Then I said, I'm going to do it and I did it. Remember that o'l saying all work and no play...well sometimes you just need to play!
Despite always being organized, woth so many craft things being small, I would lose track of what I actually had. The dreamboz is truly a dream. It makes everything so easy to find and see. It is so well made and thought out. I love it so so much!!
Wasn't bad at all putting it together. My hubby and I got it together in just 3 days because we both work and did a little each day.
I love my Dreambox! It has so much space that I can store my craft stuff, office supplies, and homeschool materials in one piece of furniture! Amazing!
Still working on setting it up. More to come later.
I love crafting but I never had a space to call my own. Thanks to the dreambox my wish has finally come true. I have everything I need within arms reach! Also the ability to add paper to the drawers to add a more decorative look makes the dreambox even more fun! I also highly recommend the Farm Gray color. It's absolutely gorgeous!!
Still working on mine
I retired at the beginning of the pandemic and started creating. Lusted over the Dreambox for too long! Finally got it this year and I am soooo happy. I bring everyone in to see it. I am constantly gathering materials and supplies & love having everything in one place. I am an “outie” so I need to see everything and I never ever close it! Like why would I do that?
The Dreambox has changed my creative life!!! I have ALOT of craft stuff, ALOT. I’ve tried to keep it organized, but it was hard and then there was the space issue, and having to move to the dining table for a work area. You know what I’m talking about! Now, everything has a place, I have space to work and the best part of all, it looks so good, I like to put my stuff away and keep it all tidy!!!! My craft room is so much more relaxing and I can get more things made, now that I can easily find all my stuff!!! I never thought furniture could be so life changing.
I'm using my Dream box as half office half crafting. It works great and left me get rid of or repurpose several pieces of furniture from my home office.
I don’t have it yet but everything I have read and seen, IT LOOKS AWESOME!!!!!
I love, love, love my dreambox! I just want to set in my room all day long and craft. I can find all my supplies in a minute instead of hunting through the whole room trying to find something.
“Happy Taking Care of Me Day” gift to myself. I have had my fine art, crafting, teaching materials buried in totes for 15+ Years. Like most women, I am always taking care of others and never having energy to find supplies or time to create. Then the CR Mothers Day sale came along , and I put my years of pining for one behind me. I finally decided to pull the trigger! Lots of trepidation. There were some delivery hiccups but customer service fixed it fast. It was fun winnowing supplies down to the essence of who I am now creatively. I started learning to sew in 3/2022 and have now combined that with my fine art and learning collage quilting. I do keep my “in view” drawers plain (no embellishments) because I like to look & grab what I need. I truly have become more creative, more often, and look forward to my time having whatever I need at my finger tips. It is also nice to be able to close it up and keep my space my own.
Love it, it is so well made. Well worth it.
My dreambox was just what I needed to finally centralize all my cosplay crafting supplies in my new workshop. I just love the functionality and the clean style, and the sewing table takes it to the next level!
