Life as a busy mom and a working student can often get overwhelming at times, but Cimmaron has found a way to stay on top of her family’s daily routine and manage her own creative passions with the DreamBox! Watch below:
What is the DreamBox?
The DreamBox is a piece of organizational crafting furniture that offers 85,000 cubic inches of modular storage and a designated workspace for creative projects. Not only does it organize all your supplies to be within reach, but it also transforms back into a closed cabinet within seconds. It's an ideal setup for a mom like Cimmaron who needs to take time for herself, work, school, and her family routine.
"Before I got my DreamBox, stuff was everywhere! My essential oils were in the laundry room cabinet. My kid’s stuff was all over the house in various totes and dressers. A lot of stuff was from my junk drawer in the kitchen, it didn't really have a place, so we just kind of threw it all together. It feels so good now to have everything within a hand's reach and to be able to see what I have."

1. How has the DreamBox helped you balance your work, family, and studies so far?
The DreamBox has turned into the hub of our home. It’s where I go to study for my classes, and where my kids come to work on their homework at the end of the day. But it is also where we can pull out a family craft project when homework and chores are finished. It’s been so convenient and freeing to have everything for my classes, and all of our art supplies in one place. We can switch from homework to an art activity in minutes thanks to the DreamBox. It has helped me balance everything by allowing me to have a location for anything and everything we may want to work on.
2. What tips would you give to other busy parents who are looking for ways to bring calm and organization into their family’s daily routine?
I would encourage other parents to have a central location for all their supplies whether it be work/school or craft related. It makes it so much easier to say yes to creating with your kids if you can put away their homework supplies and pull out their art supplies with ease. Another tip is to schedule your routine. During the school week, it can be hard to carve out time for crafts with kids so I try and make a plan to craft with them for a few hours each day on the weekend. I also try and schedule little creative breaks for myself throughout the day, whether it be during my lunch hour, 15 minutes before the kids get home from school, or even after they go to bed. I try to prioritize creating for me and my family!
3. What creative activities do you enjoy doing the most at your DreamBox?
One of our current favorite activities we have been doing at the DreamBox are virtual art classes. My oldest son is very artistic, and I’m not so much. So we have been doing an online watercolor art class and it's been so fun and relaxing to enjoy this outlet with him! We also love getting monthly STEM projects sent to us, and building those at the DreamBox makes the process easy and neat.
