I love the custom insert so that I have an even surface for sewing! I also love the pull out compartment to organize all my thread, and I can lower the tables and close everything up to look neat when I’m not sewing!

I’ve gotten my cabinet and can’t wait to fill it and get busy sewing again.
I’m in the process of moving so my cabinet is still in the crates.
Thank you

The Sew Station is a game changer for quilting using a domestic machine!

I am working toward setting up my sewing and craft studio for a long time. I’ve been sewing since Ivwas a much younger girl, but I also do paper crafts- scrapbooking, cardmaking and building journals. So, my Create Room will do double duty! I think that one side, of course with the Sew Station, will be on the right side, and paper arts on the left side. I love the Sew Station. I can lower my machine and close the doors to little hands that aren’t quite ready for sewing, or I can opt to leave it open and ready to use. Maybe my sweet granddaughter will want to learn how to sew! Of course I have several machines available so she can sew right beside me!

For the most part it is a nice item. The only thing I don’t like is the door that swings open, the middle hinged part doesn’t stay flush with top. It tends to bend in. It needs some type of latch to Keith from bending in.

This product is absolutely AMAZING!!! Originally I bought it for my sewing machine, even though I am not an experienced sewer. I don't do much sewing, but I wanted this product because it matched my DreamBox and my DreamCart, and it would make it very easy for me to sew small projects because it was already set up and ready to go, I just had to push a button and I could begin sewing. It also gave me the extra table space when not in use that every crafter needs. However, it was not until about a month ago, that I discovered that my Cricut Maker would fit on the lifter shelf and I could raise and lower my Cricut when I wanted to use it. Because I use my Cricut significantly more than my sewing machine, this has become the permanent home for my Cricut, and my sewing machine is stored in a rolling tote under the lifer shelf. Absolute game changer for me. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!!

I absolutely love My Sew Station. I debated on getting this for a few weeks and I am so happy that I did. It’s so convenient when you want to just jump on your Sewing or Embroidery Machine and go at it. No Regret’s At All Here. Createroom Rock’s!

I have been wanting a create room for years. I was an art teacher for 25 years and a crafty person on top of all that. I now do lapidary work and embroidery. I love this thing because it contains most everything and I can keep everything well organized. Thank you for creating such a wonderful piece of furniture. I can't believe how sturdy it is. My engineering husband was very impressed.
Joy G.
The sew station looks great but having hard time with the door. Cannot get the correct wheel.
Marilyn D.
I really like my sewing table but still waiting for the plastic tubs that weren't in the shipment.

I absolutely love my SewStation. We renovated our home during 2020-21, and I finally have a sewing room. The SewStation provides a great work space, with quality cabinetry.

Beautiful!! Built so sturdy. SO easy to get my machine out and put it away!! Absolutely love it❣️

Still have not received all the parts. So dissappointed that I cannot finish the organizing process due to lack of parts. Bins and spools. I do like the lift for my machine and the acrylic template cut out for my machine bed. I am also liking the versatility of the large surfaces. Plenty of space for cutting and sewing. Sorting pieces etc. Just complete my order. That would be nice.
Sherry B.
I love, love, love my sewing station, it is beautiful! I was very impressed with the packaging and the care that was taken to make sure the pieces were protected. It was easy to assemble and my husband put it together in about 2 hours. This piece of furniture is solid, sturdy and has everything I need to quilt. I also love that the door opening for the sew station has rolling wheels and a pop up side table. All these thought out features along with the electric function that moves your sewing machine up to work and down when you want to put it away are exactly why I chose the Sew Station from Create Room. Thank you from a very satisfied customer.

Love my sew station!! Since getting it, I sew more. Everything is organized and easy-to-find. I highly recommend it.

Hi, I would highly recommend the Sew Station for anyone on the fence. Yes, it's spendy but it is the PERFECT size to really spread out materials as you sew. If you sew clothes or quilt the space on 'other' sewing cabinets just doesn't cut it! haha! I waited for a long time to find the right cabinet and once I took the plunge on getting a Dreambox, the sew station just made sense. It matches, it integrates with the cabinet and as a standalone, it provides just the right amount of table space/support for working your fabric projects. We could only add one photo and since there are plenty of others of the sew station in action I wanted to add one specific to an issue I had. The slide-out tracks are supposed to be installed before you assemble the wall panels. Then you add these L-shaped braces. IF you put the tracks on first, it is near impossible to get to a couple of the brace screws. The choice is yours but if I had it to do over, I would install the slide-out tracks right after the 'install braces' step. All of the holes are pre-drilled so it won't mess you up. Other thing to note, the Sew Station comes with the fitted cover (for the sewing machine table-top hole but if you also want the clear plexiglass fitted piece you actually have to go to the link below and request it separately. At the time of this review it is included with your purchase but you need do this separately to provide details about your sewing machine so they can get the custom size right :-) Happy Crafting!! We have moved from a large home into a much smaller one so I started looking for creative solutions for all my crafting materials. And found Create Room. I love my sew station and am looking forward to getting my Dream Box. The two together will make a wonderful solution to the issue of having my projects close to hand.
Shelley F.
Love this sewing cabinet, built with quality product to last a lifetime. I do wish the platform the sewing machine sits fit a little more snug, less space around it. The tables swing out and provide for cutting and piecing much added space for my small work area.
Tracey C.
I am enjoying my SewStation and all of my Create Room furniture and accessories.
Amyra S.
I LOVE my Create Room Sew Station! The electronic lift makes it super simple to pack away when I'm not sewing, and the table looks great in our spare bedroom. The pop-up tables are not only ideal to let big projects flow across the table while sewing, but they provide excellent space for a mini iron and cutting mat.
The Sew Steady insert is perfect, and it came with a 14" cling on ruler that is convenient. I liked it so much that I ordered the Sew Steady Centering Static Cling ruler too. My only disappointment was that no one at Create Room noticed my note about my machine model, so the Sew Steady insert did not come with everything else as was expected. Make sure you ask about a form and confirm ahead of time that Create Room has the information since I was dying to use my new table but had to wait a few more weeks for the insert.
I was delighted to receive the plastic trays with the Sewing Station. I was not expecting those, and they are very handy. The design and quality of the Sew Station will serve me well for many years!

I was so excited when it got here! I put it together by myself and it wasn't difficult at all. I'm very happy with my sewing cabinet. Worth every penny!

Works great

Love it!!! The Sew Station has been a game changer. Since it has arrived a few weeks ago, I have been able to finish two “UFOs” (unfinished objects). The two supporting tables are supportive for large projects (like quilts). I also noticed that my back does not hurt, because my sewing machine is at the right level. Everything is well-organized and easy to get to. It is a dream.

The table is great. The construction was pretty easy if you are familiar with putting furniture together. Had trouble when we put a hinge on upside down. You definitely need one or two friends to assemble. My frustration was the communication from this company about shipping time. I ordered in January and had not heard a word about it until I emailed them. It would have been nice to receive regular updates. In June I emailed and found out it would ship in July. I responded with the dates I would be out of town in July. The next thing I was told it was coming in June. Well, my trip started in June but I hadn’t told them those dates since it was coming in July. Turns out it came before I left but the trucking company called and couldn’t get in my driveway because there was no turn around. Luckily my stepson was able to help get it on the highway with his front end loader. I just wished I had known more when I ordered it.

Love the Sew Station. There are a couple things I would improve on. The shelving system isn't the most secure. Got my husband to anchor in the top shelf after knocking it off a dozen times. Plus the edges/corners are SHARP!!! Finally ordered some corner cushions to save my knee. Wish the middle and bottom thread shelves pulled out a little so could see selections easier...or had a lighting system. Shelves could be replaced with drawers! Last suggestion...match the wheel on swing door with the wheels on the Sew Station...why are they different???
Elva H.
Love my sewing box I have every thing I need in its place. Now just waiting on my Dream box then everything will be perfect.!!
Customer
Love this… not only is my sewing machine ready to use when ever I am ready to sew, but when connected to my Dream box I have more space for scrapbooking & crafting!!!
Linda P.
For years I have sewn on a small "sewing table" that was not very big and had no room for turning the fabric or storage. I showed a picture of the sewing station to my husband and he said "Happy Birthday". I ordered it and a few months later it arrived. It was packaged perfectly with every piece accounted for, checked and re-checked by the shipping personnel. The instructions were labeled exactly how they needed to go and it wasn't long before my husband had it ready to go! I have used it everyday and I just love it! When I have company, I just fold it up and it looks like another piece of furniture. I can't begin to tell you how wonderful this piece is - everything is at my fingertips. And don't forget how the power brings the machine up and down! This is truly a professional company from start to finish!
Matya D.
Overall I’ve enjoyed using the sew station however I feel that for the price there shouldn’t be so much assembly involved. The directions do not match the new pieces used for the shelves and the shelves are not sturdy at all. I kept asking for new pieces given the confusion with the directions and they literally sent me a whole new kit for the entire sew station which seems wasteful. Every time I get up from sitting my knees brush against the shelves and they fall down so there is no way to use them as intended with the totes.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had. My only purpose in writing this review is to help others who might be considering purchasing a Sew Station. DO NOT DO IT! This company clearly edits its reviews so that only the glowing ones appear so I am quite confident my review will not be seen. Even so, I have NEVER worked with a company with SO VERY MANY QUALITY ASSURANCE DISASTERS! First, the $1300 Sew Station arrived 8 weeks after it was ordered. Second, it arrived with a critical missing side. So, my husband (who had taken an entire day off of work) was frustrated within 15 minutes when he realized the problem So, then, we had to wait for the critical side to be delivered. He took another day off of work and did assemble the whole thing. BUT then we realized that MULTIPLE pieces (brackets, acrylic storage bins) were missing. The lid is warped. All those things are supposedly being shipped and will arrive in February! The company emailed to say the problem is a result of Coronavirus. I get that. BUT COMMUNICATE that you are aware that there is NO QUALITY ASSURANCE of the parts or of the completeness of what is being shipped!!!!! This company has a nice concept of furniture for crafters. But I will never make the mistake of buying the DreamBox I was considering getting; the Sew Station has demonstrated that the company cannot assure (and does not stand by) its product.

I was so excited to get the sew station but the first problem we ran into was that it didn't come with instructions. The company must have realized they didn't send instructions so they sent us some and it came about two days later. we put the thing together the way it was instructed but noticed the two sides did not have the same amount of holes on them as in the instructions. however it all fit together so we figured it was fine. the problem came when we tried to put the sliding thread holder onto it. the holes are off buy just enough to make where the rails do not match up so it will not go into the station. we also had problems with the shelves. the shelf holders were not the right ones so they wouldn't hold the shelves. they did send me the correct ones and they seem to work. I still am not able to put the sliding thread holder on yet. I haven't heard back from them related to that. I still use it and love it other then that. once everything is working correctly I am sure I will really love it.

I love, love, love my sewing table.!!! I have a small sewing area and this is perfect. If you are thinking about buying one just do it. Great storage and the lift is wonderful.
Customer
Well I have the large cabinet and love it. Not so much with the sew cabinet. The "storage shelves are not placed well. I hit my knee on it several times and decided to remove them. Also can not raise the tables to a height that is good for cutting fabric. Therefore I cut fabric on the table with the dream box. I would still purchase this again if the storage were a little differently placed.
Johnnie D.
It took forever to get then it was parts from two different cabinets so having to hire someone to put it together I'm not happy. I am looking at the cabinet as it is so far I would never order it again.
Peggy B.
While the concept of the Sew Station is AWESOME, I cannot begin to describe my disappointment in the execution! I ordered the Sew Station in October. It arrived in January. Parts were missing (that are not due to be delivered until February!). Other parts are warped. All in all, if I had it to do over again, I would purchase a simpler sewing table made by a local craftsman. THIS was absolutely NOT worth it! I am posting this, too, because the company has not returned my request to "make this right" . . . All I am saying is that I was once prepared to purchase a Dreambox but, once my missing Sewing Station parts are delivered, I do not plan to ever purchase anything from this company again. So, buyer beware. The advertising does NOT match the Quality Assurance. AT ALL!
joann B.
It holds more craft stuff than I can imagine!
I haven’t yet filled it up!
Victoria W.
I've have had the Sew Station for a year now. It's works just as described, but I'm disappointed in the quality of materials. The trim is separating from the white tabletop insert. It also has several deep dents just from moving it to lower and raise the side and back leafs. For as much as I paid for it, I thought it would hold up better.
Customer
My sew station was delayed by months. I received zero communication from CR regarding this. When my delivery date came and went, I inquired and was told my delivery date was pushed back two months. That would have been nice to know! Never received an "I'm sorry", or "Sorry for the inconvenience". Not a word.
I finally received my sew station and there were multiple defects. I was sent replacement pieces for the defects, but am a little disappointed in the quality. The laminate shouldn't peel so easily. For the price, I expected more.
Francesca in customer service was a great help to me dealing with the defects.
Christina N.
Construction and material quality was solid - instructions were straightforward and easy to assemble between the two of us. The only qualm I have with the Sew Station is that the table extensions are not completely level or parallel to the floor - they slope ever so slightly so that nothing round can actually rest on those extensions without falling to the floor. As a result, I don't use the extensions for sewing activities that require stability, like cutting on a cutting mat or ironing, which kind of defeats the whole purpose of a "sew station".
Maryann O.
I would love to tell you all about my experiences with my sew station. I waited 5 months for it! My husband uncrated it the day after it arrived, and unhappily read me the note that said it was shipped minus the hinges ! There are 12 hinges, and the center can not be put together without them. I received no emails from you, before I received shipment, or in answer to my question about the missing hinges! P.ease let me know what kind of hinges and if they can be purchased locally! My sewing station pieces are taking up a lot of room! I would like to use it!
Interesting that the only emails I do get are about rating my service, or the product.

I've wanted a sewing cabinet since I started sewing many years ago. I always sewed at the dining room table except when I was in Jr high school. Once I got my chair set properly, I was transported back to Jr high for one brief second. I love the feel and quality of the Sew Station. I was impressed with the shipping and packing of it. The instructions were very clear. My son came over the day I received it to put it together for me. I actually find sewing straight to be much easier than my earlier setup. I'm SO glad I was able to find this sewing cabinet and highly recommend it.
Rhonda W.
The sewing station was well packed and well made. The only issue is the shelves. Such a great product and tacky shelf supports. The shelves will not stay in place. I had to use a bunch of command strips and stick them to metal wider shelf supports to get them to stop falling off
Felicia H.
Great space for sewing. Beautiful exterior.
Katie W.
Due to pandemic this came only a few days after predicted window, and the sew steady insert came separate. It took 4 1/2 hours to assemble but worth every minute. The instructions were easy to follow and everything is very clearly labeled. This piece is so wonderful to keep my machine. The side tables are very large and help support large projects and are sturdy for various crafting. Very helpful to help organize spools and keeping the sewing necessities close at hand.
Liesbeth K.
I LOVE MY SEWING BOX! I love having everything I need at my fingertips and when company comes over to stay I can close it up. I don't have to worry about packing up my machine, I just lower it down and put the cover on. I can't wait for a bigger space so I can order my Dream Box to match!
Diana G.
Sewing Station makes sewing a joy. Great that I can move it around the room when more space is needed or stow machine and have a blank cabinet
Tina
For the embroiderers and sewers our there...I put my sewing machine in the cabinet and embroidery machine on top. When I need the sewing machine I just slide my embroidery machine back to the extension table then pull up my sewing machine. I love it!
Chris K.
Still very happy with my Sew Station, but I was bumping the shelves with my knees and having them fall out. I found a way to lock them in and wanted to share it. These locking shelf supports from you-know-where didn't work as designed--the zigzag part isn't deep enough--but when I turned them upside down and placed them in the hole above the supports that came with the Sew Station, they exert the necessary downward force.
Jeanne I.
Haven't had time to use it, but I'm so excited.
Lorreen M.
I was able to put it together by myself, but it did take me a couple of days. I love hoe much neater my sewing room is when I’m not sewing. I love the side table so I can have the iron and a small cutting mat ready to be used. It is very comfortable to sew since I can have my sewing machine at just the right height. Great product! Now I’m saving my money to purchase the Dream Box.
Chris K.
First, get a cordless screwdriver (not drill) to put this together. I sprained a finger trying to use a manual screwdriver. Second, this table is an excellent, excellent value. The hardware and paint finish are both very high quality, and it's amazing to get an electric lift for this price. I can't fine-tune the position of the lift as well as I'd like for free-motion quilting, but adding a little cardboard under the machine got it to the right height. The spool drawer has been a little bit of a disappointment, because if you position the shelves as designed, you can't see the spools in the back. I've taken out one of the spool shelves for better visibility of the bottom shelf, where I keep thread cones. What would be ideal is if the spool shelves were level and pulled out on slides, but I don't know if they make slides that short.
Rebecca O.
I love the extra table space it gives me. I can cut, sew, iron all in one space. I wish it came with doors to match the workbox. All the products should be matchable especially with the cost involved to have these. The put together was great. I only had one hole that we had to drill for the roller on the door and it was missing one screw. (that is not a complaint but for information) Everything else went together like clockwork! I put most of it together myself even hanging the doors. The instructions were clear and the pictures were great. Thank you very much.
Nancy R.
I love the sew center! I am a larger size person so I was not able to put the shelves on the left because there isnt enough room for my legs underneath if I put them in. I'm a costume designer and sew alot from home in an 11×11 room that is also my bedroom so this is perfect.
Cheryl T.
I really wanted to love the Sew Station. BUT...first of all I had to wait moths for it to be delivered. I don't know about you but when I pay over $1200 for a product, I want it NOW. The station finally came and my husband and I spent five hours putting it together. First glitch was that the wheels came without screws. Not a big problem as my husband has an extensive screw collection! Bigger problem was that the front of the side spool cabinet was chipped and had ingrained stains on it. Even bigger problem was that the front doors did not close and left a huge gap in the front. Last straw was that the top insert was warped and would not lay flat. When I ordered the station I thought that the top was a solid surface. Shame on me for not asking more questions. The insert LOOKS like an insert with a hole is one corner. So even if it laid flat, it cheapens the look of the whole station. I went back and scoured the website for any mention of a non-solid top. NADA. Even the photos of the station online are very carefully taken in a way that you cannot see the top of the station. I am not saying that I would not have purchased if I had known but, again, for $1200 I expected more.
When I called the company about my issues, the wait time was extraordinarily long. When I finally was able to talk with a real person, they were very helpful and said they would ship out a new front for the spool cabinet, the wheel screws, a new insert and new front door hardware. Two weeks later, the screws and the spool front arrived. I waited a week and emailed about the other issues. A return email asked me to remove the front doors and redo all the hinges. An hour later door was rehung and could ALMOST close. I still haven't received a new top insert.
I expected more that I received and will not purchase from this company again.
Julia M.
I LOVE my SewStation! I removed the built-in left table from my Ultimate SewingBox to create room for it, forming a much larger workspace with additional storage, space for a second recessed machine, a cutting station, and a pressing station. The serger (or sewing machine) shelf is motorized, making it very easy and convenient to lower the machine and insert the flat, white top panel to form a solid crafting surface. I have decided to use the built-in spool drawer for serger thread cones (as my stash grows) instead of sewing thread. The regular sewing thread and the machine embroidery threads will be stored closer to the sewing/embroidery machine. I enjoy having the option to wheel the SewStation out to the livingroom, as well.
Garnett P.
I got the DreamBox with the Sew station add on. I had some problems along the way but I will say the customer service this company gives is Amazing!! With their help my Dream sewing space became a Reality. Thank you Create Room aka Scrap Box I may never come out of this room lol.
Jane S.
After 3 years of saving up for the Ultimate Sewing Center, I went to order it and.... OH NO! It was discontinued! I ordered the Dream Box and The new Sewing Station combo. The Dream Box came first (about a month before the Sewing Station). The Dream Box was easy to build for the 2 of us and was about what I expected. I fear the hinges on the sides are little weak and will probably need to be beefed up sometime in the future as I will be closing the Box between sewing projects. It is much deeper and projects out from the wall a lot more than I had anticipated. That gives good storage, but makes staging the room more difficult.
The Sewing Station was very easy to build with the exception that the directions are confusing for those of us who use a leg lift on our machine. It is sturdy, well constructed and sized just right. Unfortunately, I ordered a plain flat front white for both and received different style doors! I will be contacting them this week to discuss this problem. It will make setting them side by side difficult now that they do not match. We were also missing 2 parts that, although not crictical, I will be requesting to finish the project.
I would love to know why several of the items I would have loved to buy have been discontinued and several others are perpetually out of stock. It makes me wonder a little about the viability of the company in the future.
Becky F.
I wish the controls was set back a little bit more because if I push the door shut it hits the controls.
Dennis R. F.
Putting it together went pretty easily. It was easy to strip out the screw holes holding the top of the lift mechinism. The screws should be a 1/4 inch longer. Better yet 1/4 inch holes should be provided and carriage bolts provided to attach the top of the lift.
Otherwise my wife loves it.
