So I ordered another one and also added 2 extra shelves for the swing doors. This was actually a little less than when I ordered the first tool cubby so I was pleased with that!!! I LOVE this! It keeps my many pens and tools visible and within quick reach. I have multiple sets of pens for different types of projects. I was concerned there wouldn’t be enough space for them all but actually have enough space for MORE!!
The Tool Caddy is a wonderful, organizational product that I personal recommend. It was easy peasy to put together and is a very nice addition to my DB2. I use it for my markers colored pencils, and pens. With the Tool Caddy, I don't need to search through a draw to find the right colored marker or pencil that I need. Everything is tight at my fingertips and I like that!
Total game changer. Tried to cheap out and find other ways to store my pens but kept coming back to this. So glad I finally made this purchase.

I love my new tool cubby and I’m so happy that Create Room made a new version to fit the Dreambox 2.0 perfectly! Sometimes I think collecting pens is as fun as using them so I have a lot! I love being able to make my favorite ones super accessible! I also like to store a few random tools like my craft knife - it’s out of reach of my little kids but right there when I need it! The tool cubby also fits in the perfect spot so I can get the exact one I need while sitting at the table! Thanks Create Room!
The new Create Room Tool Cubby keeps all of my markers and pens organized by color for quick and easy access to exactly what I want without having to dig through a bin to locate what I was needing! I love that it not only organizes my art tools, but looks beautiful at the same time!
One of my favorite things about my DreamBox is all the different accessories to truly customize it. The new Tool Cubby was the thing I did not know I needed. It was super easy to assemble and now I can visually see the colors I have available to help me draft up a new project. I am certain that as my needs change, I will be able to change the tools inside to fit them.

I love this tool cubby so much! I’ve had it for a year and just recently reorganized it to add all of my copic markers, which used to be stored elsewhere. As a result, they didn’t get used much. Now that they are right at eye level, I am constantly grabbing for them when stamping and making cards. I’m planning to order another cubby for all of my other markers and pens, as soon as it’s back in stock.
I finally got my dream box and, as an organization junkie, I love it. Everything is so well made and sturdy, I know I'll be enjoying it for years to come.
I have only had the whole thing put together for just over a week. I’ll be using the tool cubby for Copic markers, Stampin up Stampin Blends and colored pencils. So far it’s great!
I like this tool holder but disappointed that it during fit up in the shelf as shown in the add.
I got this to hold a set of Ohuhu markers. This fits 216 so I just ordered a second one. I will fill the remaining space with blenders.etc. I wanted to see if configured differently it would hold more markers. It didn’t. However if you want a different look you can remove the middle divider and it is still stable. It still holds the same amount of markers but if you want a different look or have larger tools it is nice you can adjust it. I went with these over other marker storage for a few reasons. 1. I wanted white ones to go with the rest of my studio. 2.Shipping is too expensive to have one sent that is made. Putting it together is the price to pay for cheaper shipping.3. They would fit a lot of my markers by the dimensions and they did. I will get them tested with all my other brands soon. Spectrum Noir, I see people using them with Copics already and my other markers. I can see even purchasing more as I need them. I can tell by the number of reviews that this is a hit. I literally got the email from Create, clicked on it and purchased it. I just received my yesterday. Box was severely damaged with some type of oil . Thankfully,Create had it in bubble wrap or it would have been ruined because this soaked through the entire carton. I hope you like it as much as I do.
These show how nice the New Tool Cubby looks between the two of the former model. If people already love their existing Tool Cubbies, they will love them even MORE with this addition! These also reveal that LARGER items, including decorative ones, fit well if you remove some of the dividers. The New Tool Cubby fits beautifully in the center column of the DreamBox 2! Note: The NEW Tool Cubby is too wide to fit in the center column of the DreamBox (1), WorkBox 2.0 or Ultimate SewingBox. It DOES , however, fit in the 12x12 areas of the WorkBox 2.0, Studio Tower, Ultimate SewingBox, DreamCart, & of course the DreamBox 2.0. It can also go on one of the shelves of the SewStation, hanging off the edge a bit, but would be awkward to use there because it faces sideways there instead of facing the user. *Product Tester
I appreciate all the hard work done at Create Room. The new tool cubby is helpful, but the 12 7/8" length feels slightly smaller than the 13" paper sorting cubby. Just a suggestion, making it fit neatly on the tracks would make it a 10/10 for me. The width and depth staying the same would make it perfect for the center box placement option… I have the DB2 I just feel like a “snugger” fit would make the new cubby slightly better. In these photos you’ll see how my paper organizer fits perfectly & the tool cubby has “wiggle room”. *Product Tester
Dear Create Room: Thank you for choosing me to be a tester for your new tool cubby! I love it! It was a breeze to put together and it’s very versatile. I’ll need to order another one because I can’t decide whether to use it for my favorite Tula Pink fabrics or my pens, etc. I love that the inside can be custom configured and that it can be moved to wherever I am creating. I use the tool caddy to store my Copic markers so I can see hem and use them when needed for card making. Glad I can just reach for what i need without digging around for a specific marker!
I bought the Create Box to help me Tony woman cave that had makeup, nail supplies, and craft supplies. When I saw it, I thought it would be a good option to store my brushes. Love the cubby. It worked so well I bought a second one!
It holds my pens beautifully and in a much better confined space than other methods I have used. I love it and wish I could afford a second one.
It is so, so much easier to find the exact thing that I need when I can sort it this finely! Gone are the days of digging through a pen cup for my sharpie, or trying to find that one particular paintbrush amongst my entire collection. It's also good for some of those other odds and ends (like files and vinyl weeding tools) that used to just kind of hang out on my desk for a lack of other place to keep them.
My tool cubby holds all my different pens and markers. It sits on top of the paper organizer on a side table next to my Dreambox! I absolutely love how easy it is to be organized and have everything within reach with all the Create Room furniture and accessories!

So I took out about 15 pens markers bf this picture. These took up about twice the space before I got this cubby so I’m thrilled. I thought I would need two of them because of what I thought was a huge supply of markers but this little cubby holds tons. Love it and highly recommend it!
The cubby has a little assembly required but very easy. Great that you can customize the size of the spaces, based on your individual needs!!!
I love having all my different types of pencils, markers and pens organized and easy to find. Really great organizer.
Like others, some accessories are "necessities" with what we choose to use them for. Others are really not needed. (Thanks to Create Room, the options seem to cover a base for about every one of us.) Point here is for card making, nearly everyone gets into stamping and using markers after a while. Folks more advanced than I, have numerous sets of markers for that matter. What better place to get them organized and ready to go, including moveable onto our table, than the tool caddy. So for me, this accessory was an absolute "necessity."

I almost missed this one because in the pictures it looks like the Tool Cubby comes with the Dreambox but it doesn't - don't miss out! I'm glad I added it on because it is SO handy to have all of my pens close by and organized! No more dragging out 10 different pen packs (taking up so much space) just to be able to work on one project :-). If I had anything negative to say (and the only reason I gave it 4/5 stars) it's that in order for it to be the depth of the average pen, it makes it very shallow for the Dreambox shelf. I'm forced to either pull it forward (and have wasted space behind it) or as in the picture, push it all the way into the shelf and (in my case) always be stacking stuff in front of it. Hopefully CreateRoom is already working on a solution ;-). In any case, you won't be sorry if you get the Tool Box accessory ~ very worth it!!
